Adrian Breakspear

Adrian is primarily a producer and mix engineer, based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney but formerly working across London studios. His credits include the ARIA-winning "Go Farther in Lightness" album from Gang of Youths, along with singles and EPs from bands such as CLEWS, Johnny Hunter and The Vanns. Alongside his work with bands, Adrian has recorded A-Listers such as Alicia Keys, Ricky Martin and John Legend, as well as a rolodex-worth of Australian artists (both well known and up and coming).

Adrian tends to straddle the lines between pop and rock productions. Whilst best known for working on out and out indie rock, he tends to bring "something different" to the end result. Whether that's adding programming and loops to an otherwise live band feel, or live guitars into a programmed track, or perhaps a developed vocal arrangement to either, when there is a need for something to make a song stand out!

His varied musical and studio education means he's equally at home recording a big band (David Campbell and the "Dream Lover" cast) as he is mixing hip hop (Jackie Onassis, The Meeting Tree, Triple One), can follow a classical score but also track a band without headphones or click.
