Joe Carrà is a Grammy-nominated mastering engineer and founder of Melbourne-based Crystal Mastering, with over 30 years of experience in the music industry. His portfolio includes work with artists such as King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Teskey Brothers, Courtney Barnett, Amyl & The Sniffers, Genesis Owusu and Pond.
Having mastered numerous ARIA Award-winning releases and internationally charting albums, Joe is recognised for his expertise in both analogue and digital mastering, including Dolby Atmos. A passionate advocate for collaboration, Joe works closely with artists and producers to bring out the very best in their music.
Beyond the studio, Joe is actively involved in music education, regularly lecturing at audio institutions and contributing to the development of the next generation of audio professionals.
